We comply with global privacy standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
1. Information We Collect & Data Status
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you subscribe to our Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us, or communicate with us.
Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address, corporate entity name, billing address, and contact details.
Financial & Payment Data: Payment details (credit card numbers, billing information). All financial payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store or retain raw credit card numbers on our servers.
Project, Media & Collaborative Data: Any information, proprietary media assets, copy, credentials, project briefs, or brand resources you upload to our collaborative spaces (Trello, Slack, Loom, Google Drive).
Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and tracking data collected via cookies when navigating our website.
Data Role Disclaimer: For the purposes of global privacy laws, Muntu Studio LLC acts as a Data Controller for your corporate registration and billing information. However, for any third-party personal data, user records, or customer databases that you upload, link, or transfer to our Trello, Slack, or development environments during project execution, you remain the sole Data Controller, and Muntu Studio LLC acts strictly as a Data Processor. You warrant that you have the explicit right to share such data with us.
2. How We Use Your Information & AI Processing
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and secure our services. Specifically, your data is utilized to:
Process subscription transactions and manage automatic renewals via Stripe.
Facilitate asynchronous daily communication, feedback loops, and project production on Slack and Trello.
Comply with financial, legal, fiscal, and regulatory obligations (including tax filings and corporate audits).
AI-Assisted Processing Optimization: In alignment with our production workflows, project briefs, text assets, or layout parameters may be processed through secure, enterprise-grade AI toolchains and developer API environments (e.g., automated layout optimization, code syntax checkers). Muntu Studio LLC ensures that your operational data is processed through commercial API data privacy protocols to prevent your proprietary information from being utilized for public LLM training models.
3. Data Sharing, Global Subcontractors & Workspace Exoneration
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or project information. To maintain our operational velocity, we only share data with trusted entities under strict confidentiality parameters:
Third-Party Software Infrastructure: Stripe (Billing), Trello/Atlassian (Project management), Slack Technologies (Communications), Loom (Video reviews), and Framer/Webflow/Shopify (Design and deployment hosting).
Authorized Global Subcontractors: In accordance with our Right to Subcontract, your project briefs, design requirements, and uploaded assets may be accessed by vetted senior design specialists and independent engineering contractors bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) identical to our master Terms.
Workspace Security Limitation: While we utilize secure collaborative platforms (Slack, Trello, Google Drive), Muntu Studio LLC maintains no operational control over their internal cloud architectures. We shall be held completely harmless for data exposure resulting from direct security breaches or systemic zero-day vulnerabilities occurring on third-party platform servers.
4. Production Credentials & Automated Data Purging
To execute deployments, integrations, or migrations, you may provide us with administrative access tokens or login credentials for your staging or production environments (e.g., Shopify, Webflow, DNS registries).
Automated Retention Limit: Muntu Studio LLC enforces a strict automated security purge. All administrative access tokens, temporary passwords, and production credentials provided by the Client are systematically deleted from our internal local communication records within fourteen (14) calendar days following the formal handoff, launch, or subscription cancellation.
Client Security Obligations: As specified in our Terms of Service, the absolute duty to revoke active administrative invites and reset system passwords lies exclusively with the Client immediately upon milestone completion.
5. International Data Transfers
Our operations are globally distributed. Your personal and project information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one in which you reside (primarily the United States and the European Economic Area). We ensure all such transfers to our internal team and global subcontractors are protected by robust legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and strict data processing agreements.
6. Your Rights, Choices & Operational Continuity
Depending on your geographic location, you possess specific statutory rights regarding your personal data (Right of Access, Rectification, Erasure/"Right to be Forgotten", Data Portability, and Restriction of Processing).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@muntu-studio.com.
Operational Impact Notice: If you request the absolute erasure or restriction of processing of operational data while a Custom Project (Track A) or Muntu Pass subscription (Track B) is active, you acknowledge that such deletion may instantly paralyze our production capacity, freeze our Trello tracking queues, and render the delivery timelines impossible to meet. Muntu Studio LLC carries zero liability for project delays or delivery failures caused by a Client exercising their data erasure rights during an active production cycle.
7. Security of Your Data
We implement strict administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or cloud-based server infrastructure can be guaranteed 100% secure, and the client assumes baseline risk for all digital data transfers.
